Maypole Inn - Settle

It was in a central location, in the rear garden in brilliant sunshine. Moreover, it was near the restaurant Friday & Saturday nights, the centre, and great shopping places or even the Lake District. I greatly enjoyed cosy decor of the deluxe queen room.

The hotel has marvellous and stunning location right by near Carnforth to a log cabin for the weekend with friends and Kendal. The staff were exceptionally nice, accommodating.

Strongly recommend for a brief hiatus

Comfortable room, delicious food, providing freshly cooked meals that was so good during our four-night stay, with friendly staff eager to assist us at every turn and an excellent location that allowed easy access to local hiking routes and sights.

This place was just a strong match for shopping in Settle with great value for the money. The friendly staff made checking in effortless, a nice surprise. If you're looking for good food in a central location, this is it.

The cooked-to-order breakfast was a good start to the day, ensuring I was well-fueled for my work commitments.

We visited Ingleton Waterfall trail and Malham Cove, both accessible and beautiful spots. The room was spacious, and the staff were so friendly. The pub had a great vibe in the evenings, and breakfast was delicious, too. Perfect for a group getaway.

One minor issue was a lack of hooks in the bathroom for towels, which could be improved for convenience.

The prior communication was quick and efficient. Our room wasvery comfy and tidy, perfect for our family. The locals and hosts were friendly, and the bar menu had a nice selection. Breakfast was fantastic with options like full english and kippers. We felt very welcome as a dog-friendly hotel!

I enjoyed my stay at the Maypole Inn. The spacious room provided comfort after long days exploring the Yorkshire Dales. The culinary highlights included the really good evening meals, especially the pie. The breakfast timing could lead to issues for late risers like me.

I loved the historical character of the building, with its creaky floors and cozy pub atmosphere! The food was great, especially the mouth-watering roast beef sandwiches that are a must-try! Plus, the community vibe brought such warmth to my stay-it was like home!
